For more than four decades, Landscapes by Dallas Foster has been providing top-notch landscape design and service to the Tri-State area. Owned by Dallas and Susan Foster, Landscapes by Dallas Foster is headquartered in Vincennes, Indiana, and operates a second location in Evansville.
Over the years, we have worked to develop a niche within the market, striving to reflect and re-create nature through our designs with the highest quality plants, materials, and customer service. Our approach and philosophy can be seen in every project we do, resulting in a one-of-a-kind product that can’t be found anywhere else.
Together, Dallas and Susan have continued to strengthen the business, challenging and encouraging one another to share their love of landscaping not only with their team but with their clients, as well. With enthusiastic employees and a growing list of satisfied customers, Dallas, Susan and the team at Landscapes by Dallas Foster continue to look forward and plan for a fun, rewarding, and profitable future.

Dallas Foster
Dallas Foster bonded with nature while growing up on a farm in northern Indiana. He graduated from Purdue University in 1975 with a degree in landscape management and design. After moving to Vincennes and working at Forbes Nursery and Landscape Company for four years, he formed Landscapes by Dallas Foster in 1979. He continues to live in Vincennes with his wife, Susan, and their dogs Windy and Rose.
Dallas has three daughters Kendra, Kimberly, and Lorrie. Kendra lives in Newburgh, Indiana with her husband, Eric. She earned a degree in music from the University of Evansville and now teaches music at Oak Hill Middle School in Evansville. Kimberly graduated from Ivy Tech in Evansville with a degree in interior design and lives in Evansville, Indiana with her daughter, Aylee. Lorrie also graduated from Ivy Tech in Evansville with a degree in photography. She lives in Newburgh, Indiana with her husband Jimmy and currently freelances and assists various photographers in the Evansville area.
Even though they devote much of their time to the family, businesses, and their landscapes, Dallas and Susan always make time to catch their beloved Cubs and Bears in action.
Susan Foster
Susan, with her keen business management skills, brings her design visions to the company. Together, she and Dallas work to make their own home a showplace for the company. Early on, they realized what it meant to listen to their clients and give them exactly what they wanted. They use their landscape as a testing ground for new ideas and schedule various groups to tour their gardens.
In the past years, they have opened up their gardens on numerous occasions to serve in fundraising efforts for the United Cerebral Palsy of Indiana.
Susan's son, Brandon, has inspired them to help others that are less fortunate than he has been.
Brandon, who lives in Chicago, graduated from DePaul University in Chicago and is a computer technician for Hub International. He lives in the city with his adopted dog, Lisa. In addition to Susan's son, her daughter, Heather, also lives in Chicago with her husband, Matt, and their adopted dog, Lucy, and cat, Fletcher. She is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at the University of Chicago Hospital.
